Andy Warhol (real name – Andrew Warhol) was born in 1928 in the United States in a family of Slovaks emigrants. Received its name in honor of his father – Andrew, only in the Americanized variation. Slavic blood flowed in the veins of one of the most famous representatives of modern art. This may have played a certain role in shaping his unique view of life and art, which shocked conservative America.
